Objectives
The main learning objectives of the course are to provide students with conceptual and operational knowledge so that they can design and implement recruitment and selection processes that are appropriate to the specific nature of the job and the organizational context. Specifically, the main learning objectives are: - adapting the criteria of the recruitment and selection process to the environment, - Framing recruitment and selection in people management, - know the methods and techniques used in recruitment and selection, - design and implement a recruitment and selection process, from identifying the need to evaluating the effectiveness of the process.

Teaching Methods
Theoretical-practical classes will predominantly use active methodologies, based on the analysis and discussion of real cases, simulations, group dynamics and watching videos. The expository method will also be used to present the concepts, but students will be encouraged to participate by asking questions and proposing viable solutions, thus fostering discussion and critical analysis. In classes throughout the semester, students will apply the knowledge they have acquired by designing a recruitment and selection process which aims to integrate theoretical concepts with their practical application.

Content Explanation
This course is designed to give students the skills and knowledge to carry out appropriate recruitment and selection processes. For organizations to be successful, it is crucial that they develop effective recruitment and selection processes in order to recruit future employees with the right skills for the organization, thus providing a balance between personal expectations and the organization's objectives.

Methodology Explanation
The methodologies used aim to present the methods and techniques used in recruitment and selection, so that students are able to develop effective recruitment and selection processes, thus contributing to the success of organizations. The curricular unit thus aims to contribute to the development of the following skills: acquisition of fundamental knowledge about the methodology and execution of recruitment and selection processes, and development of skills in terms of autonomy and "learning to learn", which are so important in today's organizations where processes and methods change rapidly.
