Objectives
The learning objectives aim to understand individuals’ and groups’ behavior within the organization and their influence on organizational behavior. Conversely, they also aim to identify intervention strategies related to those factors that explain individual and group behaviors at the workplace. With this purpose, it is expected that students will develop competences that will enable them:
• To describe the socio-psychological dimensions that influences individuals’ behavior and their performance in the workplace.
• Analyze and intervene on factors explaining individuals’ and group behaviors at the workplace -
Teaching Methods
The teaching methodology is based on theoretical-practical classes, using a combination of the expository and interrogative method, to introduce theoretical concepts, with the participatory method, in the simulation of situations that illustrate the theoretical approaches and in the analysis and reflection of practical cases and scientific articles on the syllabus covered in the curricular unit. The teaching methodology used seeks to provide complementary training situations that contribute to the student being the agent of their own training using individual study based on a set of materials that will serve as a basis for class discussion and group work.

Content Explanation
This course focuses on core topics for organizational behavior, such as work motivation and attitudes, stress and wellbeing within the Organization, as well as those variables explaining these relevant issues for the employees’ wellbeing and organizational effectiveness (such as work teams, psychological contract, and organizational leadership). Thus, it is intended that the students acquire the theoretical knowledge and skills needed to characterize the socio-psychological dimensions that influence the individuals’ behaviors and performance at the workplace, enabling them to identify intervention strategies explaining individual and group behaviors at the workplace.

Methodology Explanation
Using the participatory method based on work and discovery on the part of students requires the development of the capacity for critical reflection, autonomy and teamwork, allowing students' learning to be valued. Through research and discussion of different types of teaching materials, students will be encouraged to develop critical skills, enabling them to understand the importance of workers' behaviour in work situations. The activities to be developed are promoted in accordance with the objectives of the curricular unit and its programmatic contents.
