  • Content Explanation

The aim of this course is to make students aware of the importance of remuneration/rewards systems in Human Resources Management, in the strategy of organisations and also in the retention and well-being of workers. The aim is for this reflection to be carried out in an integrated and coherent manner, starting with a more general framework and progressing to a more specific framework.

  • Methodology Explanation

We are facing a new teaching model in which methodologies must be diversified, requiring more active participation on the part of the students, as well as greater autonomy. The teaching methodologies used in this curricular unit follow the theoretical-practical and tutor-orientated model. The teaching-learning methodologies are student-centred. Through experimentation, it combines theory with practice and enables the development of research and problematisation in the classroom, arousing the student's curiosity and interest. It turns the student into the subject of learning, enabling them to develop specific skills and competences. The activities are promoted in accordance with the objectives of the respective course and its syllabus. Group work, practical cases, reading and discussion of articles, among others, are designed to develop a set of competences, such as interaction with the environment, the ability to work in groups, initiative, autonomy, responsibility, decision-making and critical thinking/reflection on the themes of the course
